Job Description

WMH is seeking a structural engineer with solid structural analysis foundations and up-to-date IT skills. To ensure success, our structural engineers are expected to be detail-oriented, creative, and to possess effective problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills.
Structural engineers should display a keen interest in ensuring the safety and function of buildings and other civil structures. Top candidates will have a fantastic project and budget management skills with sound knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
  • Familiar with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and desire to deliver the highest quality projects to our clients

Level of Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Experience designing transportation infrastructure utilizing Microstation, AutoCAD, 3D CAD software and knowledge of state highway design standards and procedures required.

Certification Required

  • California PE license required
