We are in search of an experienced Proposal/Marketing Manager to join our team in our Downtown San Jose office. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of A/E/C industry proposal and marketing experience who is looking for a varied and challenging role.

Candidate must have experience in:

  • Creating responses to RFI, RFQ, and RFPs, documentation and proposal management
  • Candidate must be proficient in complete MS Office Suite, Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

Job Responsibilities

Proposals
  • Research potential pursuits; develop a proposal outline to be used in go/no go discussions
  • Assist Project Manager with pursuits, develop content, graphic materials and ensure timely delivery of proposals
  • Create, edit, and manage proposal templates to be used in various pursuits
  • Assist in editing copy for clarity, simplicity, and length
  • Coordinate proposal production, quality control reviews and delivery process
  • Assist Project Managers with preparation of interview materials and logistics
Marketing
  • Responsible for creation, coordination and maintenance of marketing materials, resumes, project abstracts and company website
  • Prepare press releases and ads for project and company news
  • Prepare materials as needed for meetings, careers events and networking opportunities, company newsletter and events
Project Support
  • Attend project meetings to gain knowledge of the project milestones and update the project management system accordingly
  • Assist project team with graphic materials as needed
  • Assist Business Manager with project controls/administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role in the A/E/C industry
  • Must have proposal experience
  • B.S. or B.A. Degree preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in managing deadline driven marketing / administrative projects
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are required
  • Candidate must be proficient in the complete MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP), Adobe (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Ability to conduct final QC check, including proofreading for grammar and RFP/Q compliance
  • Experience developing content and design for promotional materials (brochures, flyers, other graphics)
  • Candidate will also need the following attributes: energetic, positive attitude, flexible, team player, good time management skills, detail oriented, and extremely organized
  • Must have a flexible approach to work and be willing to help out where needed.
